This is my journey as I attempt to live out Psalm 37:23. "The steps of a man are established by the Lord."

Had to go!
Ok, while I am in the mood for the beach, that beach background was too bright even for me! :) So went with something a little more "me"! Red, white and blue are the colors of American and Liberia, and I love both lands...if we can just get freedom to truly ring in Liberia.......
HollyAnn, I thought you might get a smile out of this, but I am reading "Blue Clay People" and Thomas seen the book out. He asked me, is this book about Liberia, and I said yes. He then said, why do you want to read a book about Liberia and I told him because I love Liberia and he said why, and I said because Liberia gave me two of the most beautiful children in the world, and he smiled and left it at that. I told him that I will always love Liberia. Thought you might need a little smile today. Also, you will be in our prayers. I can relate a little, as Thomas woke up one morning with a large lump in his groan. I immediately when into panick mode (or mother mode). After many test and bloodwork, we found out that he had cat scratch fever. We were thrilled, as weird as that sounded. I told my husband that I was never more happy about the words cat scratch fever in my life. What scared me even more was that across the hall at school, there was a little girl who had cancer in her leg so it made me much more appreciative and also much more sympathetic and aware toward her and her mother, b/c that could have been us very easily. Hang in there, God is with you as you know and is working through you even with this currently situation.
I love the new look!!!! How are you? We got your email and I will write you a message on facebook about it. I hope you are doing great!! The picture of you and John is fabulous, you are so beautiful : )
I am the lucky wife to John and mother to Paizley by domestic state adoption at age 15, Callie by birth, Noah by private infant domestic adoption, Toben by international adoption from Liberia at age 3,Ava by birth, Madison through foster to adopt (placed at 7 weeks old & adopted at 19 months), Journey through birth. I went from Mimi to Mommy with Ella and DJ who were placed with us when they were almost 11 months and 3 weeks old. B-man was ours for a short time through fostering. I am also MiMi to Ezra whom we currently do not get to see. Someday! I love being a mother and working in adoption ministry! I have a passion to empty Texas and then the country of children waiting in foster homes to be adopted! This is a transparent look at my steps that I pray are always established by Jesus!
